About Custom Wood Urns

We live where homes are surrounded by the giant Redwoods in Southern Oregon.  The forest floor is covered with ferns, wild trilliums grow in abundance, as do mushrooms and bushes and smaller trees under the canopy of the giant trees.  It is a breathtaking and wondrous place. 

The forests are a gift and I do not take that lightly.  I do not fell grand trees to make my products -- I use the trees naturally felled by weather and the elements, or those cut down years ago and left behind.  Also, those who work the forest gather choice bits of wood and burl and I buy those now and then.

My goal is to produce beauty for human use without subtracting from the beauty of our natural forests.  We can all rest more peacefully if we all take care of the resources we are given.
